⚡ Boost & combo
- Boost drains ~26/s and refills ~5/s cruising. Grazing cars (near-miss) gives +8 boost and raises your combo ×N (4 s window — keep grazing to keep it alive).
- Chips give +3 boost, tricks +22. Smashing traffic while boosting or airborne also counts as near-miss.
- Higher combo = every style point that follows is worth more. Your best combo is tracked each run.
- Low tank? The bike warns you — ease off and graze instead of holding boost.
◉ Hacking
- Hackable cars & drones glow green with a HACK tag. When one is on screen, the prompt appears — hack, then pick 1 of 3 rewrites before the timer fizzles:
- 🟩 SHORTCUT — clears nearby danger and lays a chip road + ramp ahead.
- 🟪 WEAPONIZE — crashes all traffic and shakes any pursuer.
- 🟦 GREED — turns nearby traffic into chips (sometimes a core fragment).
- Cooldown ~8 s, shorter with 💾 HACK DECK upgrades (halved in HACKER mode). Fizzling still grants a small style bonus.
✦ Ramps & tricks
- Ramps launch you airborne (~1.25 s). Trigger a trick while airborne for +120 style and +22 boost. One trick per jump — make it count.
- Airborne bikes pass straight through traffic and voids.
☠️ Hazards
- Traffic — touch it and you crash. Watch for blinking turn signals: cars change lanes after ~600m.
- VOID gaps — black holes in the road. Cross only boosting or airborne.
- Drones — weave toward you. Hack them green or boost past; ramming works only while boosting/airborne.
- Police — interceptors join past 1000m+ (earlier on OVERDRIVE / SURVIVAL, never on CHILL). Ram them while boosting, or chain 5 near-misses to shake pursuit.
- 👁 THE WARDEN (Endless/Survival, every ~2500m) — heat spikes for 20 s. Survive it for +1 core fragment, a full boost refill and +300 style.
- 🛡 Shield — your first 5 runs, PRACTICE, and CHILL always start shielded: the first hit is free. The 👻 GHOST gadget grants one extra save per run.
🌆 Districts
- SHIBUYA OVERDRIVE (0–500m) → TOXIC HARBOR (→1500m) → BLACK SECTOR (→3000m) → NULL PLAZA (beyond). Traffic, heat and music intensify as you ride deeper.
🏁 Modes, difficulty & modifiers
- Modes: ∞ ENDLESS · ⏱ TIME 60s blitz (greed wins — never brake) · 🔥 SURVIVAL (heat climbs, cops swarm) · ◉ HACKER (hacks everywhere, half boost tank) · 👻 GHOST (no boost, triple near-miss style).
- Difficulty: 🟢 CHILL (relaxed, free shield, no cops, 0.8× score) · 🟡 STREET (classic) · 🔴 OVERDRIVE (dense + fast, early cops, 1.5× score).
- Modifiers stack score: 🌧 RAIN 1.1× · ⚡ OVERCLOCK 1.3× (+30% traffic) · 🚫 NO-BRAKE 1.4×. Daily runs add 1.1× on a fixed seed.
- PRACTICE is deathless training — earns nothing. 📅 DAILY is one shared seed per day (STREET/ENDLESS).
🔧 Garage
- ◈ Chips (pickups + score bonus) buy upgrades: ⚡ION ENGINE (+3% top speed/lvl) · 🧭GYRO (handling) · 🔋BOOST CELL (+8% tank/lvl) · 💾HACK DECK (−0.5s hack cooldown/lvl).
- ⬢ Fragments (cores + WARDEN) unlock gadgets — equip up to 2: 🧲 MAGNET (huge pickup radius) · 🛸 DRONE (auto-hack every 22s) · 👻 GHOST (survive 1 crash).
- 🎯 Missions & 🏆 Achievements pay chips for feats like 1500m rides, 8 near-misses, shaking the WARDEN. Claim missions in the garage.
- 📺 FILTER switches NEON / VHS / GB visuals.
🧮 Scoring
Score = (distance × 10 + style + chips × 25) × mode × difficulty × modifiers (× daily). After each run you bank ◈ chips (pickups + score bonus) and ⬢ fragments. Best scores are kept per mode + difficulty, plus a local top-5 LEGENDS board.
💡 Rider tips
- Boost the straights, brake before packs, graze — don't ram — unless you're already glowing.
- Save hacks for drone swarms or when boxed in; GREED before a clean stretch, WEAPONIZE when surrounded.
- Voids: if in doubt, boost through. No boost? Take the ramp first.
- Cops hate speed — either outrun them boosting or farm 5 near-misses to break pursuit.
