I’ve been taking things apart since I got my first PC in 1998. That afternoon in the living room — tools scattered, manuals ignored, the quiet panic of trying to put it back together before anyone noticed — set the pattern. It worked. I was hooked. I never really stopped. Over the years the objects changed, but the impulse stayed the same: open it up, figure out how it works, break it a little, then try to make it better (or at least different). These days that looks like FPV drones, 3D printers, and whatever code project has my attention. One week I’m tuning a 5-inch quad. The next I’m designing a part that doesn’t exist yet, or writing something that probably shouldn’t work but somehow does. Most of what ends up here started as “I wonder if I could.” Some of it worked. The rest made for better notes. Nothing on this site is for sale — it’s just a workbench with a URL. Curiosity is still the main driver. It’s also why I own more soldering irons than I can reasonably justify.
